We are a community-based volunteer organization that depends on subject-matter experts to evaluate scholarship applications submitted by a diverse group of Anne Arundel County high school seniors.
Benefits of Serving as a Scholarship Reviewer
As a Scholarship Reviewer, you will have the opportunity to:
• Collaborate with fellow experts in your field while reviewing the work of exceptional students.
• Apply your professional experience and knowledge in a meaningful way.
• Share your expertise in a setting beyond your regular professional responsibilities.
• Gain an inspiring look at the future of your profession or field of expertise through the accomplishments of the next generation.
Areas of Expertise
We are seeking reviewers with educational and/or professional experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
• Career Training and Applied Technology
• Computer Science
• Creative Writing / English Literary and Rhetorical Analysis
• Engineering
• Health and Physical Education
• History
• Marketing and Media Studies
• Mathematics
• Performing Arts
• Science
• Social Sciences
• Visual Arts
• World and Classical Languages
Eligibility
Applicants must:
• Be a resident of Anne Arundel County.
• Possess education and/or professional experience in at least one of the scholarship disciplines listed above.
• Be available to participate in the online scholarship review process during February and March.
Please note: Current employees of Anne Arundel County elementary and secondary schools are not eligible to apply.

If you are interested in serving as a volunteer Scholarship Reviewer, please complete the application form below. Reviews are completed online and include approximately two virtual meetings with fellow review committee members.
Selected candidates will be contacted and invited to participate in an interview as the next step in the selection process.
