Breaking the Stigma of Mental Illness Through Awareness
Three (3) $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to students interested in pursuing a career in the behavioral, social science, or psychology fields and/or has an experience with mental illness personally or with a loved one.

A $6,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates originality in written artistic expression through lyric or narrative genres.

A $6,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates sophisticated interpretation and analysis of literary and/or rhetorical texts.

A $6,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates excellence in health and physical education, which includes lifetime and team sports, fitness, sports medicine, and health literacy.

A $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student interested in communications, business marketing or media studies.

A $6,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates excellence in mathematics.

A $6,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates excellence in the performing arts, such as music, theater, and/or dance as well as in technical theater and/or production.

A $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates academic excellence as well as sportsmanship, achievement and leadership in athletics.

Anne Arundel Retired School Personnel Association
Four (4) $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to students interested in a teaching career including: Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Secondary Education and Special Education.

A $6,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates excellence in the visual arts.
